The Role

Clearhill seek to appoint a professional Procurement Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the Finance Director and working collaboratively with the leadership team and all other parts of the business, you will hold a vital role within the company.

This role is based in our Banbridge, Northern Ireland Headquarters, but travel will be required throughout Ireland and the UK to our various customer locations as business needs dictate.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying, sourcing and developing product ranges.
  • Negotiations for all products and manage supplier relationships.
  • Analysing and maintaining stock levels to optimise sales and service delivery.
  • Maintenance and update of pricing and product data.
  • Ensuring that products are made available to service delivery team when required
  • Developing procurement procedures throughout the company
  • Forecasting demand of products

Candidate Specification:

Skills / Experience

  • Previous buying experience essential
  • Extensive knowledge of products and supply chain
  • Accountability for achieving company margin requirements
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to influence people
  • Excellent communication skills – both internal & external
  • Computer literate with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent numeracy, time-management, organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Commercial awareness
  • Attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
