We are pleased to announce that our FunHub App, developed by Sugar Rush, has been nominated for Best App in the 2024 Spider Awards (“Spiders”).
The Spider Awards are in their 27th year and celebrate ‘Digital Brilliance’. The Spiders are, in their own words, ‘Ireland’s benchmark for digital excellence’ (thespiders.ie).
Our app has been shortlisted with brands such as: Brown Thomas, Square 1, Strikepay and Total Digital, highlighting the calibre of our competition. The criteria the FunHub app needed to meet to reach this stage were: functionality, design, UX, problem-solving and innovation.
The FunHub app was designed with our end users in mind, rewarding them for using any machine within the FunHub portfolio. Users can load money, converted into FunCoins, to their digital wallet and interact with our kiddie rides or claw machines, earn cash back and purchase gifts from the FunHub Store. This innovative approach to leisure vending has kept us ahead of the curve, providing a unique aspect to our service and opening some exciting possibilities to better understand and interact with our users.
The winner of the Best App Award will be announced on March 1st.
