Heroes On Site

Over the past few weeks, we’ve been celebrating the incredible people who go the extra mile every day across our shopping centres. From holding a ladder to creating welcoming environments, these unsung heroes are at the heart of what makes each centre a better place for shoppers, tenants, and colleagues.

We’ve now shortlisted the nominations – and it’s over to you!

The Heroes on Site campaign shines a light on the dedication and hard work of individuals who often go unnoticed but make a real difference. Each of our finalists has been recognised by Clearhill staff for their commitment, positivity, and impact.

Now it’s time for the community to get involved. We’re inviting the public to read through the shortlisted stories below and cast your vote for who you think deserves to be crowned this year’s Hero on Site.

The Fun Part!

The hero voted as the winner, and the staff member who nominated them will both win a £100 gift voucher to spend in the shopping centre featured in the nomination.

🗳️ Voting is simple: scroll down to see the finalists, then use the form at the bottom of this page to cast your vote.

Voting is open until 12th September, and the winner will be announced on the 20th September!

Charlie & Linda
Linda works at Livingston Designer outlet and has done for 24 years! She's the first person I see when I arrive in the wee hours and she is always happy and cheerful. She always has the skinny on what assets are up or down or doing well, and is right on the money. My very own On site Wonder Woman 🙌🏻
Eddie & Arleta
Arleta from Fairgreen Shopping Centre, Mullingar is my hero. She keeps Clearhill assets so clean that when I arrive on site I rarely have cleaning to do and can focus on the product maintenance. Her attention to detail is 10 out of 10. Adam, the centre manager shakes my hand every time I arrive on site. 100% lovely staff members who make it a pleasure to work on site.
Lauren & Liam
This is Liam from Lisnagelvin Shopping Centre - he is one of the security staff here and one of the first people I see on site. As soon as I pull up, he's out of the security hut with a smile on his face and welcoming me to the centre with a quick chat. He always has an update on machine out of orders and is a great help to me on site!
Joe, Danny & Casper
Danny and Casper work in maintenance in Portlaoise Shopping Centre. Over the last number of years these 2 guys have gone out of their way to help me on site in a minutes notice. This varies from moving a machine, borrowing a tool, helping with electrical trip switches, holding a ladder etc. I want to recognise the great help they are to me which makes my experience in the centre a lot easier!
Paul & Security
It's all about building strong relations with all the centre staff! Security in Letterkenny Shopping Centre are always there if I need a hand - or they need a rest!
Oksana & Rebecca
At MacDonagh Junction in Kilkenny, Rebecca Doyle, Customer Support and Marketing Coordinator, has become the heartbeat of community engagement. Rebecca doesn’t just organise events or manage campaigns — she creates an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome and included. Spend even a little time with Rebecca, and it’s clear how deeply she cares for people. She pours her whole heart into everything she does, always putting community first.
